New Practice Guideline

Council approved a new Practice Guideline on Inclusion of Children with Disabilities. It will be published in the spring.

Submissions to Government

Subsequent to January’s Council meeting, the College submitted responses to government on three different issues:

Bill 66: Restoring Ontario’s Competitiveness Act

Ministry of Education Engagement on Class Size

Nominating Committee Disbanded

Council approved a recommendation to disband the Nominating Committee and incorporate its duties into the Terms of Reference of the Executive Committee. The Election Committee met on February 11, 2019 and declared 11 candidates eligible to stand for election. The voting period opened on March 18, 2019 and closed on April 17, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
