Congratulations to the newly elected and returning Council members representing the North/North East (District 1), East (District 2) and Central West regions (District 6). Council members will serve for a three-year term starting June 2026.
The 24-person Council governing the College oversees policy development and makes decisions related to entry-to-practice requirements, ethical and professional standards, professional misconduct, incompetence and incapacity.

District 1
Lindsey Dann
Lindsey is the Site Supervisor at Little Lions Child and Family Centre in Thunder Bay. Since 2020, Lindsey has served on Council and various committees within the College and is looking forward to serving for another term, saying “I will continue to use my experience, knowledge and values to advocate, strengthen and support a profession I feel so strongly about.”
Sylvie Langlois-Beange
Sylvie is the Manager of Early Childhood Education Services at Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord (CSPGNO) who, for the past three years has served on the College’s Standards of Practice Committee. With over 30 years of experience in the sector, Sylvie is committed to the well-being of children and the general public. On her reasons for joining Council, she says “I want to ensure a quality system that we can be proud of and that will support and develop outstanding RECEs.”
District 2
Brigid Berry
Brigid is an EarlyON Team Manager with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, a College mentor and holds certificates in Children’s Mental Health, and Diversity and Intercultural Relations. During her time on Council, Brigid aims to “contribute a balanced, insightful perspective that respects the hard work of RECEs and seeks to continue to elevate the profession through shared knowledge and integrity.”
District 6
Karla Bailey
Karla is the Executive Director at My Neighbourhood Services in Mississauga. Karla brings several years of experience working with diverse children and families, and successfully operating her own licensed child care facility. Deeply committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, Karla will “ensure the voices of all RECEs are heard and reflected in Council discussions, contribute with integrity, and maintain a clear focus on the future of our profession.”
Mandeep Kaur Dosanjih
Mandeep is the Area Director for Kids and Company in Milton. Committed to strengthening early learning environments, Mandeep’s goal for her time on Council is to advocate for equitable and transparent policies and practices, saying “I bring perspectives that strengthen Council’s work in inclusion and accessibility, ensuring decisions reflect and serve the diverse communities and educators we represent.”
