While the pandemic has changed many facets of practice, one thing is certain: our resources are here to support and strengthen your practice approach.
Our latest offerings can help you:
- Understand how professional supervision of your team can be an opportunity to enhance your practice;
- Learn about the relationship between pedagogy and curriculum as well as strategies to guide pedagogical practice; and,
- Find ways to build relationships and communicate across differences.
The Practice Note on the Professional Supervision of Supervisees recognizes that many RECEs are responsible for providing supervision to other RECEs, staff, students or volunteers. If so, you can use this resource to help strengthen your ability to support supervisees in their practice. The practice note also helps to further your understanding of how supervision is an opportunity to strengthen your own professional practice.
The Practice Guideline on Pedagogical Practice was developed to help RECEs learn more about the relationship between pedagogy and curriculum. The practice guideline also provides you with useful examples, scenarios and reflection questions to help you think about your practice and strengthen your learning.
Our most recent release, the Practice Guideline on Diversity and Culture, encourages self-reflection and collaboration to help you become aware of the cultural differences and similarities among those in your learning community. This important resource can help you reflect on biases and beliefs while considering how they influence practice. As well, the practice guideline provides ways for you to co-create culturally responsive, inclusive learning environments.
